THE EVENING
You arrive at this historic, 700-acre property to an Old Fashioned patio welcome, local wines and three "treats" featuring a live Wagyu Carpaccio Carving station. As the sun sets over the mountain, flames spark up around Chef Aldrin Asencio’s live-fire kitchen, with Wagyu Rib Roast carved to order, Smoked Salmon, roasted seasonal sides and a Dutch oven apple crisp--all under tent at one long table filled with live Latin Jazz, conversation and the glow of an October night. Black with a touch of red sets the tone: autumn color at Ovoka, fire after dark, fabulous food and drink--all with a bit of mystery.
